Palm Jumeirah

Palm Jumeirah is a man-made island in the shape of a palm tree, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was built using reclaimed land and is one of three palm-shaped islands constructed by Nakheel, a property developer in the UAE. Palm Jumeirah is a popular tourist destination and residential area, featuring luxury resorts, restaurants, beaches, and shopping malls.

The island is divided into three main areas

The trunk is home to a variety of residential buildings, shops, and restaurants, while the fronds are lined with luxury villas and mansions. The crescent is a 11-kilometer-long breakwater that protects the island from waves and currents, and also features luxury resorts, such as Atlantis, The Palm.

Palm Jumeirah is accessible via a monorail system that connects the island to the mainland, or through road tunnels that run under the sea. The island is also a popular spot for water sports activities, such as jet skiing and parasailing, and visitors can also take a boat tour around the island to admire its unique architecture and stunning views of the Dubai skyline.
